The fastest Wi-Fi fix in a Paintsville house is not a new password

One router in the living room cannot punch through a two-story house and a metal-roof shop. Here is what actually works.

People buy a bigger router the way they buy a louder soundbar. The living room gets great, the bedroom dies, the shop never had a chance. Radio does not care that you spent $300.

In a Paintsville or Prestonsburg house the usual villains are: one ISP gateway in a cabinet, a metal roof, and a cinder-block addition. Mesh (or real access points on Ethernet) beats a single screaming box. Put a node where the signal actually dies, not where the furniture looks nice.

If you are still typing a Wi-Fi password into every toaster, we will also split guest traffic off the computers. That is a thirty-minute change and it stops a lot of “the internet is fine except the office PC.”

Homes, farms, clinics, churches, and shops. Remote if it is faster. In the driveway if it is not.
